LILLETH (they/them) is a visual artist, performance and film director, choreographer, composer and organizer, working across film, theatre, concert, opera, installation, and experiential.

In community, LILLETH visions and facilitates multi-sensory experiences that aim to transport us to a liminal, dream-like state - where our perception of time might expand and where our bodies might release. Through process and performance, these works aim to reveal space for somatic healing, mindfulness, and prayer.

LILLETH’s art and direction have been shown at The Kitchen NYC (Born With An Extra Rib by stefa marin alarcon), Lincoln Center, NOWNESS (Every Step is a Prayer with Niki Franco, Rev. Houston (Otter Clan) Cyprus, Rad Pereira, Cara Striker), The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA, Abrons Art Center, CTM Festival at Berghain Berlin, CPR - Center for Performance Research, Superblue, The Bushwick Starr, DAAD Galarie Berlin, BAX, Ars Nova, and National Sawdust, among others. LILLETH trained on projects at Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Park Avenue Armory, The Louvre, St. Ann’s Warehouse, and The Holland Festival, among others. Lilleth is a 2023 Artist-in-Residence at the Center for Performance Research.

Their lead collaborators include Rad Pereira, Lester St. Louis, S T A R R Busby, Kelley Shih, Dria Brown, stefa marin alarcon, Jen Anaya, Ita Segev, Ashton Muñiz, Tianna Nicole, and Britton Smith, among others, and is currently amid a collaboration with multi-disciplinary artist Terence Nance.

LILLETH is also the co-creator and organizer at You Are Here Creations, alongside Rad Pereira (@yah.world). 

LILLETH trained with and worked as assistant director to Ivo Van Hove (A View from the Bridge), 600 Highwaymen (Abby Browde & Michael Silverstone), Niegel Smith, Taylor Mac, Andre Gregory, Wally Shawn, Keneza Schall (Triptych), Diane Paulus, Lila Neugebauer (Everybody by Brandon Jacobs-Jenkins), César Alvarez, and Horse (Stephanie Hayes & Emily Reilly), among others.

LILLETH received their bachelors degree in Clinical Research Psychology at Harvard University, with a minor in Dramatic Arts. They are currently an MFA Candidate at University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts in Film and Television Production.
